Boeing 737 MAX’s first flight! – Watch online the maiden flight! The planned first flight of the Boeing 737 MAX is January 29 which is going to be a major milestone for the Boeing. Boeing executives adds that a final confirmation of the maiden flight date will depend on “weather and other factors”. The 737 Max is powered by CFM International Leap-1B engines, from the same family being developed for the Airbus A320neo. Boeing launched its maiden flight after Airbus’s A320neo. Boeing has already have more than 3 thousands (3072 currently) 737 MAX orders. Turkish Airlines itself has 75 orders on this model. The aircraft has 3 options as 737 MAX-7, MAX-8 and MAX-9. Iran to buy 12 Airbus A380! Airbus has recently signed an agreement with İran for 118 new Airbus aircraft. The agreement includes 45 A320 family, 45 A330s, 16 A350s and 12 A380s. Iran’s decision to buy Airbus A380 was a very crucial movement for Airbus. Airbus has increased the Airbus A380 orders to 331. Airbus A380s will be probably flying between US and Iran after 300 years isolation. Iran emerged from years of economic isolation when world powers last week lifted crippling sanctions against. Accounting to media, about one million Iranians live in the US. Iran’s estimation for aircraft needs for next a few years is 400 medium and long range aircraft and 100 short range aircraft! Qatar Airways to launch the longest non-stop flight in the world! Aviation enthusiasts have got very excited after Qatar Airways’ CEO has talked to Bloomberg Business News that the airline has plan to schedule a non-stop flight between Doha, capital city of Qatar and Auckland, New Zealand. The route between the 2 cities are more than 9.000 miles (14.500 km) and this non-stop flight will take approximately almost 18,5 hours! This new planned routes is longer than the worlds’ current longest haul flight which Qantas’s Dallas to Sydney route. This route taken almost 17 hours and more than 8500 miles. Qatar Airways will be using Boeing 777LR (long range) aircraft in this ultra-long haul flight. According to  Statista , the longest flights in the world are shown below. The aircraft is wearing a special livery for " 300th Aircracft"’. ------------ İşte THY'nin 300. Uçağı! Türk havacılık camiasının uzun zamandır beklediği, üzerinde büyük tartışmalar yapılan 300. uçak sonunda görücüye çıktı. Frenchpainter'ın twitter hesabında paylaştığı fotoğrafta, 300. uçağın Airbus A330-300 olduğu görülüyor. TC-LNC kuyryk tescilli uçağın Airbus'ın merkezi olan Touluse'den yola çıkması bekleniyor. Havacılık tutkunları tabiri caiz ise ters köşe oldu! 300. uçağın Boeing 777-300ER olacağına kesin gözüyle bakılıyordu. Hatta son olarak üretim hattından çıkan TC-JLE kuyruk tescilli uçakta özel boyamam olmamaı eleştirilmişti. Turk Hava Yolları’ndan Yeni Boeing 777-300ER Hatları Türk Hava Yolları bugün itibariyle filosunda 23 adet Boeing 777-300 ER uçağa sahip ve 24’üncüsü olacak olan TC-JLE kuyruk numaralı uçak ise şu sıralarda teslimat hazır durumda ve Boeing’in yuvası Everett’de son kontrolleri yaplıyor. Havacılık tutkunlarının yakından tanıdığı ve takip ettiği Tanser Akıncı kaptanımız yine bir 777 teslimatı ile görevlendirildi. Kaptanımızın bu yılki ikinci 777 teslimatı ve 2015 yılı Aralık ayında da bazı teslimatları gerçekleştirmişti. Bu tescile sahip uçağın Türk Hva Yolları tarihinde ayrı bir yeri daha var. Aynı zamanda bu uçak THY’nin 300. Uçağı olma ünvanını taşıyacak. Turkish Airlines' New Boeing 777-300ER Routes. Turkish Airlines currently has 23 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft in its fleet and has many orders to be delivered until 2020. The 24th aircraft which is going to be the airline's 300th aircraft has been already painted and waiting for the delivery.  Turkish Airlines' captain pilot Tanser Akinci has been assigned to accept the delivery within this week. The captain is now in Seattle and sending  the brand new aircraft photos to  his followers  during the final review schedule prior to delivery. In addition to these new brand Boeing 777s, Turkish Airlines executives have reached an agreement with Kenya Airways to buy some additional Boeing 777s. Airbus A330s are replaced with Boeing 777-300 ERs The Airline will replace their Airbus a330-300 operations with Boeing 777-300 ERs. In the high-season;  -Istanbul Ataturk - Delhi A330-330 operation will be replaced with Boeing 777. -Istanbul Ataturk - Dubai A33

Turkish Airlines Takes Lessons From Katmandu Crash involving Airbus A330-300 Whats Happened... On the data of 5th March, 2015, Turkish Airlines flight TK-726 took off from İstanbul Ataturk Airport with a brand new Airbus A330-300 to Katmandu in Nepal at 20:25 at local time. Tail number TC-JOC was carrying 224 passengers and 11 cabin crew and headed to Katmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport in Nepal. Due to heavy fog and skiddy runway The plane on a seven-hour flight circled for half hour over Nepal before it made a second attempt to land. During the second try, the landing gears collapsed and the plane nose-dived on the runway at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The runway was slippery after two days of rain and there was dense fog at the time. No passengers on the flight were seriously hurt in the incident but some were given medical attention after evacuation. One-year-old aircaft will be scrapped. According to the local media, Tur
