A321 NEO takes off for the first test flight! Today is one of the milestones for Airbus. The company’s most famous aircraft Airbus A321Neo meets the clouds for the first time. A321Noe is the newest next generation engined single-aisle aircraft. Airbus announced that the aircraft will airborne with 5 cabin crew and will be flying 5 and half an hour and it will undertake a "partial" flight-test program to examine specific aspects associated with the larger type's performance. The new aircraft has CFM International Leap-1A engines and the new engines performance will be tested. Airbus will also test Pratt & Whitney engines in the following weeks. There is a intense competition between CFM and P&W.   CFM seems very ambitious. Turkish Airlines Will Recruit More Than 1.000 Cabin Crew in 2016! Vice General Manager of Turkish Airlines has made a statement to local press that they are to hire more than one thousand cabin crew since they are going to take delivery of about 40 new aircraft in 2016:. Aldulkerim Cay, VGM of THJ also added that while the airline has been grew 5 times since 2013. At that time we had 65 aircraft and yesterday we took the delivery of the 300th aircraft. Thus, we will need more cabin crew to facilitate these additional aircrafts. The airline currently has more than 20 thousands personnel which consist almost 50% cabin crew. Türk Havayolları ile Hawai Uçuşları Başlıyor! Türk Havayolları CEO’su İlker Aycı’nın da katılmış olduğu San Francisco’da gerçekeleşen toplantıda, Hawaian Havayolları ile kod anlaşması imzalandı. Anlaşma neticesinde, Türk Havayolları’nın Japonya’nın Osaka ve Narita şehirlerine yapacağı uçuşlar ile Seoul’e yapacağı uçuşların bundan sonra Hawai Adaları ile bağlantısı da olacak. Bir başka deyişle, Türk Havayolları’nın web sitesi üzerinden TK kodu kullanılarak Hawai adalarına uçak bileti alınabilecek. Turkish Airlines And Hawaiian Airlines Sign Codeshare Agreement Turkish Airlines has signed a Codeshare Agreement with Hawaiian Airlines. The Codeshare agreement will enable Turkish Airlines to use its “TK” code on Hawaiian’s daily flights between Osaka, Japan and Honolulu and Seoul. Turkish Airlines has daily flight between its hub İstanbul, Turkey and Osaka, Japan and Seoul, South Korea.The agreement will provide a bridge between one of the most historic cities of the world Istanbul and very beautiful Hawaiian Islands. The announcement was made by both airlines’ representatives in San Francisco. Singapore Airlines A350-900’s First Airborne! Singapore Airline, Airbus and aviation enthusiasts are recently very excited about the airlines’ first Airbus, 350-900XWB’ maiden flight in Toulouse, France. The aircraft will now enter the final phase of production, which includes additional ground checks and some remaining test flights. Singapore Airline is excited that they will receive their first A35-900 in the coming days. According to the Airbus, the aircraft, featuring the airline’s iconic livery, will now enter the final production phase. The final production will cover further ground checks and test flights, before the delivery. Singapore Airline has 67 A350 XWBs orders, which will be operated on long range flights, as well as on selected regional services.
