 Airbus to announce 3 A380 Deal to ANA  Per the article of Reuters, Japanese Carrier will invest on A380 and will order 3 super jumbo aircraft on Friday. This will be a good relief for Airbus and A380 model as the growth figures has been downsizing recently. We are excited to hear the announcement by either Airbus and ANA. Photo:GTAall.com

Turkish Cargo is Broadening is Network As  may notice recently that Turkish Airlines' cargo company called Turkish Cargo has been taking good steps recently and growing rapidly. The cargo carrier has accused a Boeing 747-400 recently in addition to its 8 A330 Freighters, 1 A300 and finally 3 A310s. A330 Freighter will start working on the route of India.  Turkish Airlines Long Haul Aircraft Change   Turkish Airlines going to replace some Airbus A330 routes with brand-new Boeing 773s. You may find the changes and routes below.  1) Istanbul Ataturk – Bogota – Panama City – Istanbul Ataturk eff 29MAR17 Boeing 777-300ER replaces A330-200, 3 weekly   This is good news. The airlines introduced this route in less then 1 year and now it is increasing the capacity.   2) Istanbul Ataturk – Kuala Lumpur eff 27MAR17 1 of 2 daily service operates with 777-300ER (TK060/061), replacing A330-300 Airbus A330 is replaced with Boeing 777-300ER. 3) Istanbul Ataturk – Miami eff 29MAY17 Airbus A330-200 replaces Boeing 777-300ER, 1 daily   Miami route is one of the newest routes of Turkish Carrier. Airbus A350’nin toplam siparişinin %75’ni A350-900 modeli oluşturuyor. Peki, neden? Airbus’ın sipariş ve teslimler sayfasını detaylı incelediğimizde, bir takım ilginç rakamlarla karşılaştık. Aşağıda bu rakamlara ve bunların olası nedenlerine bir göz atacağız ve tartışmaya açacağız. İşte o ilginç sonuçlardan bazılar: 1)     A350-800 modeli ilk lanse edilen ve en çok bilinen model olmasına rağmen en az rağbet gören model olduğunu görüyoruz. Airbus A350-900 Orders Stands for 75% Airbus A350 Orders. Question: WHY? When have a deep look into Airbus's orders&delivery pages, I have noted some interesting figures.I will be listing and summarizing these figures and then we look for the narratives behind these such results.  Interesting Figures:   1) The first outstanding item was that customers did not desire very much the Airbus A350-800 even tough it is the first version presented to the media. Since A350 was presented, it has collected only 16 orders! That is not all! The half or the order is from Russian carrier Aeroflot Russian Airlines and the other half is from Asian Airlines! We see that A350-800 model desired by only 2 carriers and they are from Russia and Asia. We might be discussing the possible reasons for such interesting figure in the following pages.  Airbus has not even put these orders into production yet! 2) A350-900 model has already collected 599 orders so far. Reuters: Airbus says Turkey's Pegasus Airlines will take new A320 jet Turkey's Pegasus Airlines will take delivery of its first A320neo jetliner as planned this week, Airbus said, reversing earlier indications that the delivery would be postponed following Friday's thwarted coup attempt in the country. The aircraft will be handed over in Hamburg on Tuesday, but without a previously planned media ceremony. Airbus said on Saturday that the ceremony had been postponed, pending a "better moment" for the plane's delivery. The delivery is an important milestone for Airbus as well as the airline, because it involves the first aircraft to be powered by the latest generation of engines developed by U.S.-French venture CFM International . Turkish Airlines to buy A350 XWB? Turkish Airlines, Turkey’s flagship airline, is in the negotiations with Airbus to require brand new Airbus A350s! Turkey's biggest airline has more than 160 Airbus aircraft currently in its fleet, 54 of then wide-body aircraft. The airline has been renewing its fleet by eliminating Airbus A340s and ordering new Airbus A330s and Boeing B773s. In addition to 54 Airbus wide body aircraft, the company also has 32 Boeing 773s. The new assigned board members has a great pressure to acquire more wide body aircraft such as Boeing 747s and Airbus A380s. However, even tough the top management expressed interest on these models, Turkish flag carrier airline has not come up with any order on these model but  shown a great interest on B773s and A330s as the airline finds them more efficient.  THY'nin Yeni Boeing 777'si Everett'ten Yola Çıktı Turk Havayolları'nın uzun zamandır önemli miktarda yatırım yaptığı Boeing'in 777 serisine yatırımları devam ediyor. Şirketin mevcut siparişlerinden bir diğer bu sabah erken saatlerde Boeing'in fabrikasının bulunduğu Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nin Everett'te bulunan fabrikasından yola çıktı. Eğer bir gecikme olmaz ise Türkiye saati ile saat 12:15'te İstanbul'da olması planlanıyor. Yapılacak rutin kontrollerin ardından önümüzdeki hafta başında uçağın seferlerine başlaması planlanıyor. Yeni uçak TC-LJJ kuyruk tescili taşıyacak ve General Electrics'in ikiz GE90-115B motorları ile can bulacak. Bu modelin şu anda yoğun olarak Airbus A330 lar ile operate edilen New York ve Osaka/Japonya hattında kullanılması bekleniyor.
