Turkish Airlines is to take over 3 A350s of SriLankan Airlines
According to local media in Turkey, Turkish Airlines has been keeping the negotiations with SriLankan Airlines to take over their 3 A350s.
Sri Lanka's debt-ridden national airline will sell four new Airbus A350s, a government minister said two weeks after cancelling an order for four of the aircraft.
Turkish carrier airline will use this opportunity to take over these order from Airbus.
Turkish Airlines has heavily invested on Boeing 777 aircrafts, received more than 10 of this model in just one year. Currently has almost B773 aircrafts occupied in medium and long range routes.
Additionally has 50 Airbus A330 models and the airline is interested in investing in wide body aircrafts as well especially for medium range routes.
A350 take over announcement is expected within this week by the president of Turkish Airlines.
