Qatar Airways to launch the longest flight in the world!
Qatar Airways to launch the longest non-stop flight in the world! Aviation enthusiasts have got very excited after Qatar Airways’ CEO has talked to Bloomberg Business News that the airline has plan to schedule a non-stop flight between Doha, capital city of Qatar and Auckland, New Zealand. The route between the 2 cities are more than 9.000 miles (14.500 km) and this non-stop flight will take approximately almost 18,5 hours! This new planned routes is longer than the worlds’ current longest haul flight which Qantas’s Dallas to Sydney route. This route taken almost 17 hours and more than 8500 miles. Qatar Airways will be using Boeing 777LR (long range) aircraft in this ultra-long haul flight. According to Statista , the longest flights in the world are shown below.
