Turkish Airlines, Boeing 737 overrun on landing at Pristina, Kosova.
Turkish Airlines flight number TK1009 departed from Istanbul and headed to Pristine, Kosovo suffered a runway excursion on landing at Pristina.
Turkish carrier with a Boeing 737-800, tailed as TC-JFY, tried to land on runway 35 but could not slow down properly on the runway due to heavy rain. The aircraft over run the runway and stuck into the grass. Turkish Airlines spokesmen, Yahya Ustun tweeted that all passengers are safe, they deplaned through the forward right hand door.There were 150 passengers on board.
Airport safety teams have been working to remove the aircraft from the grass and open the runway for flights.
